Anthony Bithrey's n°96 McDonalds Ford Taurus, presented at concourse without painted interior, without wheel inserts and without tire inscriptions couldn't score concourse points. At the EuroNats the car finished 29th, as 25th expert. So Bithrey couldn't make the move to the Worlds and had to finish among the top-4 of the Consolation race.
