Holland's John van Hoornaar, having won this year his second BNL Festival, was another top favourite, both at Concourse as at the Worlds. At Concourse his cars deserved a better score, proving once more that working with a scorelist is a top neccesity. At the EuroNats John missed the Semis for less than one lap, finishing 19th. At the Worlds he seemed being in for a place at the main final, but deslotting shortly before the end, and loosing 3 laps, made that he finished only 14th, at any rate below his intrinsic value as a top racer.   Pic: Anthony Bithrey.
