IMCA Nations Cup 2002 (Ostend, August 29-September 1)
JOZEF MISKOLCI'S n° 29 CHEVROLET

Jozef Miskoci, n°54 on the actual all-time ranking of slot-racers, is not only a good racer, he's also a hell of a modelist. Already in 2000, at Roeselare, he deserved to win the Model Car Worlds with a nearly perfect Porsche 991 GT-2 n°26, but the voting by the racers themselves was far from professional. This year his n°29 Chevrolet Goodwrench (Kevin Harvick's) obtained 40 votes, half of them by the racers, half of them by the expert's jury. His direct opponent, Russell Sheldon, obtained 45 votes: 27 by the racers and 18 by the expert's jury. However, since Miskolci's old-timer car won more points than Sheldon's he eventually won the 2002 Modeler's Worlds. Note that all above pictures were made ... after the races!  Pics: Jozef Miskolci.
