Never before, even not at Hardinckveld 1993, at Mechelen 1994 or at Mörfelden 1995, such a splendid group of Nascar Winston Cup cars was seen at the start. Here all cars before the IMCA EuroNats, being at the same time the qualification race for both the Mello Yello Junior Worlds and the Model Car Worlds. Perhaps 67 model cars at the start is a nice pic, but a direct consequence is that with so many racers time schedules are overloaded. So next year the number of racers will be reduced to 48 at both the EuroNats and the Worlds, so that there is no longer any necessity to have a Consolation Race as this year.
