The Open G-12 Race was followed by the Old-Timer World Cup for model cars equipped with a Whitepoint lexan (?) body. That last thing was certainly not the best decision, since most teams had to wait months before they received the lexan bodies. Some teams had even to paint the body the day for the race. Here 16 of the 18 cars as presented at Concourse: we recognise the n°3 Jaguar of Belgium B, the n°22 and n°28 Alfa Romeos of Belgium A, the n°1 BMW 3.0 CSL of Sweden, the concourse winning n°43 Escort RS2000 Ml1 of Slovakia, the n°42 sister car of Portugal, and the n°46 BMW 2002 which won the race. The most beautiful car - somewhat the most perfect model car I saw in my life - was the Escort RS1600 Mk1 in Gulf colours (at the end), assembled by Einari Fyhr.
