Start of the Main final at the IMCA Model Car Worlds. Only one wing car racer [Vladimir Horky (1), also an excellent scale racer] survived after the elimination of Mario Schöne, Lasse Äberg, Juha-Ylisipola, Vlado Okali, Anders Gustafson, Stefan Törnfeldt and many others. Only two typical model car racers reached the final: Geert Mertens (43) and "Piki" van Rossem (32). The others are typical scale racers: Frantisek Poledna (30), Jan Korec (179), Daniele Malangone (205), Josef Korec (12) and Salvatore Noviello (invisible at this pic). Watching is Antonio Texeira from Brazil. Having been catched for the second time in to years by trials to cheat the rules, the young Brazilian is excluded from participation next year. The IMCA Nations Cup is the unique event in the world were all kinds of slot-racers (wing car racers, scale racers and model car racers) have to compete with strictly equal arms (same tires, same motors, same cars, same controllers).
