After the EuroNats, won by Josef Korec (CZ), ahead of Cédric Gridelet (B) and Giovanni Montiglio (I), it was time for the Mello Yello Junior World Championship. Here 8 kids younger than 16 and 8 youngsters between 16 and 25 were qualified after the EuroNats. At the picture the Semi A with f.l.t.r. Josef Korec (12), Andrew Aynsley, Matt Zenovitch (139), John Brown, Kieran Dale (601), Youri van Rossem, Neal Stewart and Niels Jeral. Later both American youngsters were disqualified after a trial to enter cars with hidden magnets.
