 April 3-6, 2010 Wezembeek-Oppem (B)
There is a time to come and a time to go. Time to go as come for me. The The 22nd Official Model Car Sprint Worlds will thus be my very last. There is no better moment to organise them at the Festivities for 30 years Merlijn Slot-Racing Club where Raymond van Campenhout will be celebra-ted for his efforts to promote slot-racing in Europe. So the IMCA MTT track will be transported to Jeugdhuis Merlijn at Wezembeek-Oppem, less than 2.5 miles away from the Brussels-Zaventem Airport. From Good Friday (April 3, 2010) thru Easter Monday there will be time for internatio-nal racing with EEC-2010 and the 9th Official European Championship Endurance Racing as other highpoints.
At the 22nd Official Model  Car Sprint Worlds will be contested with 24 licensed Scaleauto #SC-7001 bodies of the Porsche 997 RSR Supercup, fit on the same chassis as under the lightly modified art. 6 of the IMCA Rule Book. In total 32 racers are invited representing 14 countries and 11 (ex-) world champions having won together 31 world championships. Scale racers receive an excellent RTR car (
l) in a set-up by Michael Niemas.

There will be eight 8 x 3' warm-up rounds, counting for the Franco Gianotti Trophy, where the top 15-finishers win res. 30, 25, 20, 18, 16, 14, 12, 10, 8, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2 and 1 points. There are 3 rounds on Friday, 3 on Saturday and 2 on Sunday. The 16 racers having scored most points contest on Monday the 8 x 3' Semis, the 8 best of the Semis the 8 x 5' Main Final. The 8 best ranked youngsters contest, also on Monday, the 8 x 4' Mello Yello Junior Worlds.
