The EEC Semi-Pro is exclusively open for racers having won no more than 120 IOC points in their racing career. There will be 4 rounds of 8 x 5'. Racers of cars finishing in the top-10 win at the 3 first rounds res. 10-7.5-6-5-4-3-2-1.5-1-0.5 IOC points. On finishing among the top-10 in the last round one wins res. 20-15-12-10-8-6-4-3-2-1 IOC points. After all 4 rounds all won points are added. Racers of the team having won most points are the 2010 European Semi-Pro Endurance Champion. Moreover racers ranked in the top-10 of the final standings win again 20-15-12-10-8-6-4-3-2-1 IOC points. There are thus 70 IOC points to win at the EEC Semi-Pro 2010! This will be the 5th edition of the EEC having been created in 2006 by Tamar Nelwan. The 2010 EEC Semi-Pro will be started Saturday at noon and will be finished Sunday morning 6.30am, offering all international racers (e.g. from Denmark, Norway, Finland, Spain, etc.) largely the time to find on Sunday a plane back home. There are always 3 racers per car with per round minimum 2 stints per racer. Entry fee is € 30 per racer, including free use of a handout PS4000-IMCA motor. Cost of the personalised t-shirt (obligatory!) is € 25 per racer. Technical direction is in hands of André Colson, Raymond van Campenhout and Theo Vanginderhuysen. All cars must respect art. 7 of the IMCA Rule Book. As rounds #2 and #3 will be contested in the dark, functioning lights are obliged. Each team has to buy minimum one pair of 27.5 * 13 mm handout rear tyres. View the number of IOC points which can be won at the EEC Semi-Pro , it's a unique opportunity for some semi-pros to reach the pro status for 2011. Twelve semi-pro teams receive a wild card to enter end October the 2010 EEC Pro (see more by clicking here). Those teams have to drive a 2010 FIA GT1 Worlds car at scale 1/24th. Twelve other teams, not selected for the 2010 EEC Pro, have to drive a 2009 FIA GT2 car. Although we don't wish to oblige racers to assemble the assigned car, we ask racers to be so friendly to assemble the car we assigned to them, certainly those receiving a wild card for the 2010 EEC Pro. No other cars than those pictured below can be entered.
How to subscribe?
Subscription can only be done by completing the below entry form.
We need the birth day of all entrants in view of the collective
insurance police. Might it happen that we have in our wide
archive no picture of one of you, we'll mail you to send by mail to
jppro@pandora.be a recent one.
Ultimate delay to subscribe is June 30, 2010. Everybody having less
than 120 IOC points can enter. In principle there is still one car free
- the #61 Prospeed Competition Porsche 997 GT3-RSR - but we are not sure
if such racers as Gaby Fisher & Michi Hirt (#4 Nissan), Marc
Kurella/Sven Manti/Pierre Jung (#34), etc. will show effectively. We
hope to find a place for all racers wanting to show. Entry is restricted
to 72 racers. Pro-racers are NOT allowed to start. |
