EXHAUSTIVE LIST WITH IMCA HOMOLOGATED MODEL CAR PARTS

List valid until June 30, 2011 - All prices at December 31, 2010

It's absolutely necessary to make an exhaustive list of model car items which can be used in "fair" international racing. Ultimate goal is that at IMCA sprint & endurance racing - except for screws, spacers, and washers - no other parts can be used than those in the list. Frustrating for non-German and non-Spanish racers is that nearly all quality parts are manufactured in Germany and Spain and that there are nearly no English order lists for all parts. The supremacy of the German model car racers is highly due to the fact that German manufacturers release nearly continuously new parts, completely unknown in the rest of the world. That resulted in the late 1990s into a massive withdrawal of the international racers from model car racing, letting the field open for the German specialists.  Except for Germany, Spain, Austria and Switzerland nobody else releases products for model car racing.  We propose to update the list twice per year: once on July 1 and once on January 1. During six months no other items may then be used than those in the list. If you feel we forgot important items, please inform us.  Newly homologated items are on a light blue field.

¶1.A. CHASSIS FOR IMCA CARS (FIA GT1, DTM)

Metris Mk4S & Mk4B*****

#MK4 Slotcar (new chassis by Hans-Peter Hillbrand, undestructible, without axles; without ball bearings, whithout spur gear and without wheels). Good weight balance. The MkIV uses the SLP technique and is probably the MOST PROFESSIONAL MODEL CAR CHASSIS ACTUALLY ON THE MARKET. It has been  executed at the highest standards. Can be used under FIA GT & DTM CARS. Finished second at the 2009 Toronto Sprint Masters. Won the 2009 Semi-Pro Sprint Worlds. Souvereign winner of the 2010 EEC. Another Metris car finished third at the 2010 EEC.  EXCELLENT FOR SPRINT & ENDURANCE WORLDS. The chassis will be entered at the 2011 Constructor Worlds for pros and at OEPS 2011.

NDW PARTS "KIMMY"-METRIS****

The new chassis of five-fold model car world champion Nick de Wachter, result of more than one year development. Exists in three versions (Kimmy Standard, Kimmy Long & Kimmy DTSW, always complete (except for the wheels), with front and rear suspension. The chassis are developed for using under LMP cars and Group C cars, as raced at the OEPS series. Can also be used under some FIA GT1 cars, such as the Lamborghini Murcielago. Not suitable under DTM cars. Designed by NDW and beautifully fabricated by Sebastian Nockemann from  http://www.doslot.de. 
The chassis contains everything you need to build the car except wheels:
- brass baseplate and engine piece

Based upon the SLP chassis. Further evolution of the Slotline S-GT. Good weight balance. Width 70mm. Exists in single and double front suspension. A version with rear suspension is also available.  Total weight of bottom plate adjustable.  Incl. carbon parts. Excellent for FIA GT1 & DTM bodies.

An improved version of this chassis finished 6th at the first round of the 2010 OEPS series.  Can also be delivered as a fully mounted rolling chassis at a higher price.  Good results in the SLP series. #PF1800KSLP - This is the improved SLP chassis, following a concept by Peter Oberbillig. Chassis with heavy brass bottom plate and messing body mounts. Low centre of gravity. Without 6mm ball bearings (?), with 3mm axles, without spur gear, without guide. Superior chassis if used in combination with PF1703D3 stub front axles (see below).

Together with the Metris Mk4.0 chassis this seems the best chassis one should use in 2009 at such endurance races as the Toronto Endurance Worlds and the 2009 EEC rounds. It's a typical chassis for prototypes as the ALMS cars. Ralph Seif developed a version where with a screw the height of the suspension can be regulated. The new chassis is available at the Trier Race Center, however provisionally with a prolonged delivery time.  Cannot be used under FIA GT CARS. EXCELLENT FOR GROUP C RACING.
